 RelationshipIf all the hindrances were taken away and you truly knew how much God loves you. You would devote every moment of every day to getting to know Him more.The problem is that since the day you were born someone has been trying to distort your image of God. Not only has he been trying to distort it but his ultimate goal is to separate you from God for eternity. He is the devil, Satan, the enemy of your soul. His fate is sealed and he knows all to well his eternal destination. Now then what about you? Is it possible for you to look past all the hypocrites you have seen that went to church or said I'm a Christian and then acted no differently than anyone else. Remember it was the religious people that put Jesus on the cross. If you think that religion is what God wants from you, you couldn't be farther from the truth. You see in this world we start out with 2 strikes against us. We live in a fallen world, a world that has been sold into slavery to sin. We are sinners and so is everyone else. There has only been one man to ever live a sinless life and that was Jesus Christ. He was God in the flesh. Since the foundation of the world He knew that He would have to come to die for us. He knew that He would be the only one who could pay the debt that we owed. Isa 59:1-2 1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (NKJ) We are all sinners when we come to God. No one gets preferential treatment with Him. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, And Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. We all fall short, but God does not leave us there. He has a plan to rescue us. Jesus came and died for our sin. His blood paid the price. Mark 1:14-15 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, To repent means to turn from one thing to another. Turn to Jesus and He will fill you with Righteousness, Peace and Joy. Rom 10:8-10 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (NKJ) James 4:8 says Draw near to God and He will draw near
to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts,
