Are you
interested in spiritual things? Are you
searching for the truth?
Let me give you
something to consider….
Paul the apostle
wrote these words: “ I marvel that you are
turning away so soon from Him who called you in
the grace of Christ, to a different gospel… But
even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any
other gospel to you than what we have preached
to you, let him be accursed.
Did you know
that there are many different gospels in the
world today? But there is only One true gospel.
Which one have you believed?
He also wrote:
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent
deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds
may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in
Christ.
For if he who
comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not
preached, or if you receive a different spirit
which you have not received, or a different
gospel…
There are many
different Jesus’ being preached about today and
many different spirits being received… but there
is only One real Jesus and only One Spirit that
is from God.
Consider these
words from Jesus Himself: And this gospel of the
kingdom will be preached in all the world as a
witness to all the nations, and then the end
will come.
Jesus came to
Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of
God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe
in the gospel."
One of His last
commands that He gave was this: And He said to
them, "Go into all the world and preach the
gospel to every creature. He who believes and is
baptized will be saved; but he who does not
believe will be condemned. And these signs will
follow those who believe: In My name…
Jesus not only
preached about the kingdom, He demonstrated the
kingdom of God.
The early
disciples did the same thing.
Then Philip went
down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ
to them. And the multitudes with one accord
heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and
seeing the miracles which he did. (Acts 8:5,6)
Paul made this
statement about the gospel he preached: And my
speech and my preaching were not with persuasive
words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of
the Spirit and of power, that your faith should
not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of
God.
What gospel have
you believed? What Jesus have you heard about?
What has persuaded you to believe… words of
human wisdom? Or have you experienced the
resurrected Living Christ?
We invite you
to come and hear the Gospel of the Kingdom and
to experience the Life that He has made
available to you.
